Leaders are individuals who influence and guide others. Throughout
his career as an athlete and builder Willie Littlechild has strived to create opportunities for
youth to improve their self esteem and realize their potential through sport. As a pioneering role model and advocate for community building his impactful statements must be shared. Here we share a video and a few of his quotes.
“Winners don’t quit, quitters don’t win.” He believes the message in this sports motto is more about winning in life and
ensuring there is balance. “Having a spiritual base along with the cultural,
physical, and mental elements are very important.” Willie says. He encourages
all youth to stay positive and live life with no limit.
"Honor the blessing that you have
physically and then combine it with the mental and the physical and the
cultural, so that you have a wholesome foundation for life."
“Go where there is no path and leave a
trail for someone else.”
Through compelling anecdotes Willie talks about the impact that sports had in his life and how that translates into the actions he takes.
